My woodworking journey began in 2016, when my wife was pregnant with our first child. Initially, I built a shop for storage purposes, but then decided to try my hand at using a lathe. Starting with small items like bowls, I gradually gained confidence and began creating cutting boards and small furniture pieces. 

After a year of making items for family and friends, I decided to establish Freeman Woodworking. I began taking on commissions for custom furniture such as dining tables, living room sets, and more. In 2019, I moved into a larger shop space, which has allowed me to work with slabs and create stunning dinner tables, custom bookshelves, sliding barn doors, and other unique pieces. 

My passion of mine has now become my career, and I work with clients and projects of all sizes to craft custom works of art that bring pleasure to my clients. Creating custom built-in pieces to fit the customers spaces, custom built counter tops/butcher blocks, one off kitchen tables and hand built furniture. Working directly with the customer and hearing their needs, giving my opinions before and during the build to give the customer exactly what they need.
